Having a Corporate Event at Waves on the Beach is truly an experience – professional atmosphere, amazing food, very reasonable prices, friendly staff – all amidst panoramic ocean views. Furthermore, we understand that every event is unique. Our highly experienced functions team love working one on one to understand all of your needs and to tailor the event to your exact specifications.

Thank you for exploring our Corporate Events package. Our aim is to make your experience not only incredible but also hassle-free. Therefore we have formed a number of Corporate Events packages to cater for your individual needs. Furthermore, we warmly welcome all enquiries via our functions coordinator at functions@wavesonthebeach.com.au From there, you can discuss one on one with our coordinator to help tailor-make a terrific event for your company.

Corporate Events

OUR DEFINITION FOR CORPORATE EVENTS

For you to hold a Corporate Event at Waves on the Beach, you must book the entire venue out. The reason being is that we customise the whole venue for your requirements.

Such examples may be:

  • Presentations
  • Training days
  • Christmas Parties
  • Team building days
  • Seminars

For group bookings that do not require you to book the entire venue out, please see the “Group Bookings” guide under the Functions tab on our website.

A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS ABOUT US

As the name suggests, Waves on the Beach is located right on the beach in a premier location in Frankston. The views from the venue are simply breathtaking, and are the perfect backdrop for any Corporate Event.

Our venue is suited towards more comfortable Corporate Events – if you want to have a couple of hundred people seated at a huge venue, we are not the place for you. However if you are comfortable in seating up to 80 people or holding a Finger Food Corporate Event for up to 150 people – all with spectacular views, Waves is the perfect venue. We have a range of beverage packages, which you can view on under the Packages Tab and a list of what our Corporate Package includes is outlined under the Venue Tab.

With our team of experienced chefs, we ensure that the meals served will not only look and taste delicious but will also be of reasonable size. A big belief of ours when it comes to Corporate Events is that no one should be left hungry. We will make sure that all of your guests are completely satisfied.

Another way we separate ourselves from other venues is our price. We offer incredible value. As you will see, despite having more appeal than most other venues, we have a considerably lower price. (Especially as most corporate functions fall within our ‘off-peak’ pricing period). Unlike most venues we don’t feel the need to charge a huge premium for hosting a Corporate Event. Our prices are the same for all events. Furthermore, there are no hidden costs – all the costs are outlined in this guide. Hosting Corporate Events is something we really enjoy and we do it extremely well. You won’t break the corporate budget.

By having years of experience specialising in Corporate Events, we make sure that no detail is overlooked. We believe in having constant communication with our clients, and are flexible with requests.

Every Corporate Event that we have hosted has been an incredible experience for our clientele. We host a lot of regular corporate events and book out quickly, so make sure you book early to secure the date that you want.

SEATING CAPACITY

We are very flexible with our seating arrangements. We are experienced in everything from presentation-style events to simple finger food events. Our function coordinator will find out your requirements and match the design and seating arrangement accordingly.

Seated Corporate Event: (Set Menu Corporate Events A & B)
If you would like a seated Corporate Event, we can seat up to 90 guests

Finger Food Corporate Event: (Finger Food Package)
If a seated Corporate Events isn’t for you, we can do a Finger Food Corporate Event. We are finding Finger Food Corporate Events are the new trend and have become extremely popular. We have the capacity to hold up to 150 people. If you would like to have scattered couches or a few tables with chairs, this number will drop slightly. Either way, we can set up the restaurant to what suits you best.

MINIMUM CHARGES

The total minimum charge (i.e. inclusive of all costs) for a Corporate Event at Waves is:

Off Peak $3,000.00
Peak $6,000.00

All prices are inclusive of GST. For peak/off-peak dates see below. Therefore, you can have an entire seaside venue for your corporate event for as little as $3,000 in the off-peak and $6,000 during peak times (inclusive of all charges). In addition, as most of the time corporate events are hosted during an off peak period, this means you can enjoy huge savings on top of already great value prices.

BOOKINGS AND DEPOSITS

The deposit must be paid along with a signed terms & conditions form at the time of booking. The final number of guests is to be given one-week prior to your function, along with full payment. Any additional costs on the day of function must be finalised that day. Deposits will be taken off the final bill.

The Deposit Amounts:

Off Peak $1000.00
Peak $1500.00

All prices are inclusive of GST. Prices remain as quoted if booking made within 12 months. With any booking greater than 12 months in advance, management reserves the right to vary price at any point up till 3 months prior to function date. We do not accept AMEX, Diners or Cheques. Management can alter menu if particular produce is unavailable – we will endeavour to substitute produce to create a similar menu item as requested.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be made in writing to the:

If less than 3 months notice is given to cancel booking, your deposit will be forfeited. If the client cancels a booking within 7 days or less prior to the day on which the function is to be held, not only will the client forfeit the entire deposit and in addition shall, upon demand of Waves on the Beach in writing, pay up to 75% of the estimated spend.

Finger Food Packages

Off Peak Starting at $38.50 per person
Peak Starting at $48.50 per person

You can select any, and as many finger foods as you like.

The only requirement is that the total equals or surpasses the minimum dollar spend amounts of $38.50 (off-peak) and $48.50 (peak).

i.e. 7 x $5.50 finger food items = $38.50 (which would be fine during off-peak)

or 3 x$7.50 items + 5 x $5.50 items = $50.00 (which would be fine during peak)

The finger foods are of generous proportions. We have a supervisor monitoring guest satisfaction to ensure that each and every guest is extremely satisfied.

We can cater for any special dietary requirements. You also have the option of planning when meals are to be served and in what order.

Everything is discussed on a personal level to make sure all your needs are met.

Regarding drinks, you have 2 options: either a Beverage Package (see below) or running a bar tab.

In order to have the Beverage Package option, all guests must purchase this. Conversely you can simply have a running bar tab.

The upside to the Beverage Packages below is that it entitles your guests to UNLIMITED drinks for the amount of time you have purchased.
